"The person whose mind is free from anxiety about sorrows, and free from greed for pleasures, with rage, passion and fear gone, whose thoughts are firm, that one is said to be sage."
-The Bhagavad Gita Yesterday I pushed myself to practice yoga for 2.5 hours, since I haven't been able to practice for a week. As I rest and restore from my soreness, I stumbled across this quote from this book I picked up last week. This is such a humbling quote for me right now. We have been looking for places to live this week, and we keep talking about what we need, desire, or feel entitled to have at our residence. It's funny how we sometimes get wrapped up with what we think or feel, and we often forget to just absorb "what is" and where we are in our lives and just be present. Try to free yourself from your thoughts and your emotions at some point today. It can be really refreshing.
